My Beauty Addiction Lipstick Review & Swatches
Color Rich Lipsticks are mica based. These shades are bold and opaque, but they won't be as intensified as the HD Lip Paints. They also won't the stain the lips as much.
All of these products have a creamy whipped like texture. They also don't really have a significant smell.
First Row: Kohl, Indigo, Nemesis, Paranormal, Exotic Orchid, Sapphire, Ozone, Aquatic, Tiffany Blu, Medusa, and Emerald.
Second Row: Medusa (mixed with black pigment), Nemesis (in the tube), Envy, Skooldayz, Jailbreak, 5th Element, Flaunt, Peach, Flirt, O.C.D., Hypnotic, and Godiva.
Now.... On To The Swatches!
Starting off with the Color Rich Lipsticks:
1. Kohl is described as a "very deep black." I am in love with this black lipstick. It's creamy, opaque, and it's definitely black!

Overall Score: 10/10!
2. Tiffany-Blu is described as a "gorgeous light turquoise/aqua." This color is definitely for someone who's free spirited. Excuse my language, but it's bold as hell! This color is absolutely beautiful. The expression on my face explains the intensity of the shade.

3. Emerald is described as a "semi-frost metallic green." This shade is gorgeous. It actually reminds me of an emerald stone. The flecks from the mica also give the shade a frosty touch. Three words. Great for Christmas.

4. Peach is described as a "light barely there shade of peach/orange". This shade was the only shade that applied differently than the other shades. It was really streaky, and it wasn't completely opaque.
One thing I can say is that it's definitely true to its color!

5. Exotic Orchid is described as a"gorgeous light medium purple with pink in undertone."
When I saw this shade, I almost went bananas. It's so bright and bold! It also applies as a dream (: This purple looks almost exactly like Lime Crime's Airborne Unicorn. If you like bright and bold purples, this shade is for you!

6. Aquatic is described as a "gorgeous deep turquoise." This shade is absolutely stunning. It makes me thing of Flamenco Beach in Puerto Rico. This shade is definitely turquoise. If you're into turquoise lipsticks, you need this in your lipstick collection.

7. Paranormal is described as a "beautiful violet purple." This shade is perfect. It applied like a dream.

8. Sapphire is described as a "rich, vivid blue with slightly metallic/shimmer finish." This shade reminds me of winter wonderland. It's a shimmery blue shade with a silver metallic frost. It's really bold too!

& Now, on to the HD Lip Paints!
1. Envy is described as a "vivid true green." This lipstick is truly vivid. Shout-out to MBA for hitting the nail right on the top with the description for this shade. I'm not really a light green fan, but this shade kind of made me want to wear it more.

2. Skooldayz is described as a "bright warm primary yellow.(think school bus)" This shade definitely gave me something to smile about. I love the color yellow. Even though it doesn't look too appealing on my lips. This yellow also surprised me concerning the fact that most yellow lipsticks don't apply too well. This yellow lipstick applied perfectly! Shine on sunflower (:

3. Ozone is described as a "brighter shade of Sapphire." Honestly, this shade shows very little shimmer compared to Sapphire. It reminds me of the OCC Lip Tar Rx. It doesn't stain though lol.

4. 5th Element is described as a "bright orange." I can say that 5th Element is deeper than the shade Jailbreak, in which i'll show you towards the end of this blog. I was actually happy to receive this shade once I tried it, because when I first received it, it seemed quite intimidating.

5. Indigo is described as a "very dark intense indigo blue/purple with a unique sheen." This shade is definitely one of my all time favorite shades. This shade is a blurple (which means blue + purple). This shade is a perfect dupe for OCC's Technopagan. I mean ABSOLUTELY PERFECT.

Longevity: PRACTICALLY FOREVER AND A DAY.
Overall Score: 10! ♥♥♥
6. Jailbreak is described as a "bright pumpkin orange." This shade is only a little brighter than 5th Element. It didn't seem really appealing to me, but maybe I can get used to it. For all of you red orange fans, this is for you!

7. Lastly, we have Nemesis. Nemesis is described as a "darker and more opaque version of Paranormal." As you can see by my mischievous face, this shade is my favorite out of the bunch. :) If you guys don't know, i'm an absolute SUCKER for blue-based purples. And purple always seems to tickle my fancy every single time I wear it. This bad boy also makes a mean hot pink stain on your lips. You're not a true purple fan if you don't have this shade in your collection.
